STUDIO IN THE SKY — 2022 PENCIL AND INK ON CANSON PAPER 18X24
This artwork about absolute solitude began with an image of my cat in a litter box in an empty room. It was interesting how these walls and boxy shapes related to each other. I revisited the sketch a day later and found that it worked better as a square portal in the floor which gave the room a Kubrickian light source and the ability to fly up to the clouds. The Anonymous Cat dropped by later and approved the sketch.
